Information and Instructions to support students and parents to complete work will be given below. This page is organised subject by subject.

ENGLISH – Student have been given an extract to read where they should highlight key language feature. There are a number of activities to complete which include writing a speech based on an environmental issue.

MATHS – Students have been provided with a work pack to work towards their next module please work through.

SCIENCE – Students have been given work around the key concepts in Physics and Biology. They should create a glossary of words. Complete each of the activities and tasks. Complete a poster displaying the key concepts of the topic and then write a mini test with questions and answers for a student in their class.

RE – Students have been given a revision booklet. Work through the tasks and exam practice questions in as much detail as possible.

3D – Students have been given individual feedback that they need to complete on their folder work and a design task sheet that is in their folders to develop drawing and designing skills.

ART – Students should continue to develop observational drawing skills and artist research skills in response to the theme together and apart.

BUSINESS – Activity 1 – Students to complete the test paper revisiting topics they have covered during the year including Business Organisations, Marketing and Human Resources. Students are advised to spend a recommended 30 minutes per unit of work revising before completing the test paper. Activity 2 – Complete all documentation from the Human resource unit including Job Description, Person Specification, Job Advert, Letter of Application and CV.

CITIZENSHIP – Students have been advised to keep up to date with News stories and keep a record of current affairs.

CREATIVE I MEDIA – Students have been given an Adobe Fireworks skills test and a comic strip to complete with storyline and speech.

COMPUTER SCIENCE – Students should work through the Craig n Dave video tutorials. Use Moodle to access the information.

FRENCH – Students should revise the following topics – Talking about yourself, Numbers, Days of the week/months and seasons, Sport and Hobbies, Technology, Cinema and TV, Present tense regular and irregular verb endings, Jouer, faire, aller conjugation, The Perfect Tense (Passé Composé) and The Future Tense. GEOGRAPHY – Students should complete “Hazards” homework sheets 1 to 4

HISTORY – Students should complete the Historical Environment booklet up to page 21.

HOSPITALITY – Students have been asked to use the worksheets to make revision notes for the Unit 1 external exam.

PERFORMING ARTS – Legally Blonde: Students have been asked to watch the YouTube video of the Broadway show and answer the questions outlining the professional roles used. Director/ Producer / Actor.

SPANISH – Students should revise the following topics – Talking about yourself, Numbers, Days of the week/months and seasons, Sport and Hobbies, Technology, Cinema and TV, Present tense regular and irregular verb endings, Jugar, hacer and ir conjugation, The Preterite and The Future Tense. SPORT – Students have been provided with work that will allow them to achieve the assessment criteria in Unit 2. The task involves conducting an evaluation of an elite athlete’s performance using an observation checklist while watching a clip on YouTube. Students have also been asked to create their own checklist for the sports we are working on in practical lessons ready to use when we return to school.
